Big game tonight to start the season. I got Jermichael Finley, who I'm only starting in case that pussy Arian Foster decides his leg has actually fallen off. At least I don't have Peyton Manning! I predict my team wins 4 times as many games as the Browns. Are you ready 4 sum FOOTBALL?!?!?!?!?!

Can't people just wait? I just drafted a team, without the aid of JayAre's rankings (won last year), and my preperation was the Plain Dealers "special" 4 page fantasy section. Watching these morons pick players using logrithmic ecocentric models causes sharp lower digestive tract pain.
Fantasy football has already ruined my football expierence for the most part, and if it wasn't for the gambling aspect I wouldn't play. Seeing calls on my phone, answering them, and finding the person wants to bounce FF ideas off me or tell me why I should pick up X guy from Waivers or how I don't pay attention to the bottom half of my roster/picks...
Having to watch a game while all around are on their phones, or cursing at the ticker, is forcing me to go buy that Walther and swallow the business end.
Goodbye. (Hyperbole)

I wasn't around for the end of the draft and got Winslow and Olsen. I also ended up with Jay Cutler, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Jerome Harrison with the auto picks (I had removed all D's and K's from my rankings in anticipation of this).

I like the Edwards - Crabtree combo. They will probably never play so feh. I didn't want to draft the Steeler RB, but money trumps...

And yeah, fantasy is running the NFL. NFL been swinging from the nutsack of fantasy sports for years. It drives the league, and is the only reason the league has become the juggernaut it is today. Just like the bookies made it America's game to begin with.

Remember last year when the Packers ran out of running backs against us and just let their 4th string tight end play there, then he like caught a screen pass and ran 40 yards for a touchdown?
ARE YOU READY FOR SUM FOOTBALL?!?!?!?!??!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

10 team 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, Flex, TE, D, K
QB: Rogers RB: Foster, Benson, Lynch, Tolbert, Tate WR: Jennings, Britt, S Johnson, Steve Smith (CAROLINA, WILL BE CUT) TE: Gates, Pettigrew K: Cundiff D: Chargers, Lions
1 PPR, distance bonuses, 1 point per 5 QB completions
I very much subscribe to the “Screw RB2 in full PPR leagues” theory
And Jay Are is right, w/out fantasy the NFL wouldn’t be pulling in a cool 10BB a year.
FANTASY NOTE: last night the third and fourth highest scorers in that insane game were not owned in my league, Sproles and Randall Cobb, apparently everyone forget about special teams points going to individuals and no one grabbed Sproles
PS: MY TEAM IS BOSS

I need to join your league. How do you end up with Foster and Rodgers?
I love Kenny Britt this year. I have him in all 3 of my leagues.
Good draft, e0.

Keeper auction league. My options were Jennings at $30, Rogers at $46 and Foster at $9. Since our rules are mad complex I kept Jennings at option 1 (below) and extended Foster at option 3. Then I just bought Rogers back for $53.

Our Keeper rules:
Lastly, here is the keeper rule that I have created. Each team is allowed 2 keepers.
Option 1: Keep player for same salary as previous year at same price, but that player will automatically become FA at the end of the next season. Option 2: Purchase player option for following season for $15. After year 2, option to extend another year by $15 (can keep a player for a maximum of 4 years). Option 3. Purchase player option for following two seasons for $22. Player will retain same value for years 2 and 3. Option to extend to year 4 for $10.
Example: I pick up Player X off the waiver wire (he will have a $10 salary, as will all FAs) and I decide he is one of my keepers.
Option 1: I keep him for year two at $10. He becomes an automatic FA in year 3. ($10, $10, FA)
Option 2: I decide to extend him for 1 year. His year 2 salary is now $5. At the end of year 2 I can choose to extend him again for another $15 increase, or drop him/trade him. ($10, $25, $40, $55, FA)
Option 3: I decide I want to lock in longer term savings by extending him by 2 years. In year 2 he will have a $32 salary, and I will have the option to hold him in year 3 for the same salary. In year 4, I can extend him for another $10. ($10, $32, $32, $42, FA).
