Isn't "lack of institutional control" pretty much the worst charge possible? IIRC even TOSU avoided all that with the recent fiasco.

In all, the NCAA found the total value of impermissible benefits through five years was $4,934 for all of the housing, transportation and meals provided to 63 incoming student-athletes. All services ranged from $2.34 to a maximum of $417.55 and have been reimbursed by the student-athletes.
Really? I bet Gordon Gee sicked his boys on this one to deflect some blame. A thousand bucks a year over all their programs is inappropriate? That to me demonstrates quality institutional control, and not the other way around.
NCAA doesn't like Boise making them look stupid with the winning football team and all. This is beyond petty.

They wanted to be treated like the big boys. tOSU is facing the firing squad over a couple thousand dollars. Really? Is that what it is? Because I'm pretty sure the penalty for that was some player suspensions during the easy part of the schedule.

Oh yeah, like they're gonna get any kind of penalty for this. They should make their whole team sit out the first 5 games next year!

You know, we wouldn't have this problem at all if we just paid our women's college tennis players.

NBATV is who should have hired him, they run local on every feed. Big loss for them. As for the NCAA, can it get any shittier?
