I'm not going to pontificate much on this, as I hate politcal debate on forums, but shit is getting real in Washington.
Scary shit, too. SOPA, and the suspension of Habeus Corpus, along with a bevy of other BS. Bleh... The eventuality is that shit will come to a head if it continues down this route.

Really, this is so far over the line, for no apparent reason, I'd be shocked if it held up. US Citizens in the US...just no way. Especially considering how reluctant the Court's been in the past to ease restrictions on overseas arrests/detentions in situations where full-blown Constitutional procedure is impracticable. No, no way.
Compared to this, the Patriot Act is adorable, BTW.
