#1-I don't care about tennis. #2-I don't care about soccer. #3-"Self-awareness" is not a synonym for "humanizing oneself." That article is annoying. #4-was decent. Articles don't have to be about a sport you care about to be decent to good. JUST SAYIN' And yeah, I have found Grantland's coverage thrives on the outside sports.

They have to be if they want me to read them!!!
BTW, I'd never read anything by Klosterman before I tried half of his recent "twist chilling effect" piece.
He needs a throttling. Bad.

Wait, I am reading this for reasons I don't understand. Probably because angry and hateful e0 will take away from :-( but I have a serious question:
On what planet is Sixth Sense critically considered a better picture than American Beauty?

ANYONE!!!!
SERIOUSLY, SIXTH SENSE REPUTATION IS "THAT WAS CUTE" FROM WHAT I CAN TELL AND AMERICAN BEAUTY IS "THAT WAS A PRETTY GOOD MOVIE"
AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT I THOUGHT?!
AM I WRONG?!?!?!

SORRY, I WAS JUST CONFUSED BY THIS INSANITY:
"The film (SIXTH SENSE) was eventually nominated for six Academy Awards, losing Best Picture to American Beauty but generally sustaining a better critical reputation over time. "

Oh, you're talking about that Klosteman drivel.
(<--pretending to have just realized this)
I don't know, I guess no one made fun of floating plastic bags in Sixth Sense? Or something?
F the details. What's wrong with the half of that piece I read was the inherent absurdity of using the tone he does to discuss something as thoroughly disposable and shitgiveless as movie twists without a touch of irony. (I forget if I'm stealing this point from one of the articles you've linked trashing the guy; if I am, whoever wrote it originally is spot on.) That, and the unnecessary namedroppy inclusion of Lost Guy who contributes a quote that has no bearing whatsoever on what he's talking about.

C'mon e0, are you really going to argue against the staying power of M. Night Shyamalan? Has any other figure managed to stay as culturally relevant over the last decade!?!?!

I used to like drinking flavored water: 1) When I could find it in non-offensive/cloying flavors like lime. 2) Before I had access to filtered tap water (since Cleveland tap water tastes so assy).

I've been spoiled with very good tap water here in BFE. I still can't wrap my mind around people paying for water in general, much less flavored water (aka juice, seriously, just buy the god damn juice).

<- gets all that and that is why reading Klosterman makes <- angry and why <- hopes he gets raped by a tribe of pygmies
I just cannot for the life of me believe that The Sixth Sense is more critically respected from a historical perspective than American Beauty. Factually I think the definitive pop-culture mind of our generation (FUCKNSDFKL!@) is just making shit up. I mean the entire look back on the 6th sense is pretty much, damn that really doesn’t hold up to any rewatchings, but IT WAS CUTE!!#W$
American Beauty isn’t remembered as some masterpiece, don’t get me wrong, but that statement just strikes as a complete and utter falsehood that is thrown down like it was some truth sent from imaginary gawd directly to the masses.
AND FLAVORED SELTZER WATER IS THE SHIZZLE

There was a brand I was able to get at Giant Eagle for a while (years ago) that really just tasted like a glass of non-assy water with some squeezed lime. (Probably created by some Mexican Lucille Ball stomping on a bunch of limes in a huge vat of tap water.) I liked that.
But the stuff I've seen since is really terrible. I don't think it's fair to call it juice either.

Raging Bull - Awesome Airplane! - FEH FEH FEH FEH The Shining - Meh+ Das Boot - Never seen Fanny & Alexander - Never seen Once Upon a Time in America - FEH Full Metal Jacket - One of about five movies I will watch everytime I find it on cable ^All great 80s movies. In conclusion nothing good was made in the 1980s and if it was I pretend it was filmed in the era it was set in. Have you seen The Goonies, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, or anything from the Ernest series?

LMAO, I'll give it a look. I had to remove Coon from my Twitter feed asshole just wouldn't stop.
Thinking about progress I gotta get my concealed carry permit.
Since I'm a big fan of Commando and Rocky movies I really don't know what all this fuss is about. All I know about Woody is he likes him some young taboo stuff.

Coon is intolerable on Twitter. Looked at his timeline once and almost threw up.
And you should see Tree of Life if you love Rocky movies.
Really two peas in a pod.

Why don't you just buy a bottle and fill it with your filtered water? Because re-using water bottles without washing and thoroughly drying them can give you AIDS.
