I did read it. Nothing unexpected. I think it was an Oden-sized penis of a stretch to compare him to Oden.

Cavs playoff shot just increased exponentially with Horford hurt.
Someone in the East has to take the eight seed if the Hawks fall apart (as they should). Battle between Cavs, Mil, dead Horford ATL, Char to ensue!!!

Have you been watching the Cavs, e0? They've been pretty entertaining while still losing the games that they should lose. If they dump the dead weight (Jamo) and get some return for Sideshow, it could be just about the perfect rebuilding season.

I hate Dan Gilbert too much to watch them often and their continued stance in the media that they won't dump Andy feeds into that.
That said, if the Hawks tank as bad as they could they have a realistic shot at the playoffs. The East is TERRIBLE.

Plus, Kyrie is a lot more entertaining that I was giving him credit for. He is a legit PG and going to be very, very good.
Thompson is fun to watch as well, although very raw. Ryan Hollins and Casspi make me a sad panda, though.

Sitting in the 8th spot at 6-6. 9 of the first 12 games on the road.

Kyrie Irving is going to be a superstar. How long before he rattles off a 40+ point game? It will be hard to do with how Scott is limiting everyones minutes, so I don't know if it will be done this season, but I don't think it is that implausible. If you would have told me the potential of him getting 40+ points in a game was there before the season, however, I would have told you that you smoked crack.

Given that it's an extremely small sample size, but the way he has been shooting in January (yes only 8 games, I know! but still! 50.9-47.8-96.0!!!) is absolutely off the charts for a rookie. Go back and look at how some other rookie PGs were shooting at the beginning of their first season, let alone by the end of it. Here's Chris Paul, which seems like the closest comp to me (YES I KNOW HE'S NOT CHRIS PAUL!): espn.go.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/2779/year/2006/chris-paul

Sitting in the 8th spot at 6-6. 9 of the first 12 games on the road. 3rd easiest SOS, though they are fun to watch and seem to have bought-in to a team concept. Makes the weaker parts stronger.

They have played some dogs, no doubt about that. But 9 of your first 12 on the road is not an easy schedule, especially for a younger team with a shortened season.

Man, the Cavs need a legit big. Watching Samuels / Erdin / Hollins / Andy is painful.

Keep losing! Drummond! Far better effort, but just gave the ball away too many times. Miami trapped the ball at will. Our spacing and ball movement combined with their insane abilty to rotate on defense killed us.
Too much vs too little talent.

How can the Knicks be so bad when Carmelo has THE MOST COMPLETE OFFENSIVE ARSENAL IN THE GAME?

Be interesting to see if Baron Davis makes that team significantly better.

BD will only make the Knicks slightly better. That team is a mess.

Cavaliers need to get this guy in a couple years: Nerlens Noel, C (Everett, Mass./The Tilton School) Class: 2013 | Player rank: 2 | C rank: 1 | Grade: 98 Height: 6-10 | Weight: 215 pounds | Evaluation He's in the family of Dwight Howard, Greg Oden and Anthony Davis when it comes to blocking shots. If he played one-handed, he'd still be the best shot-blocker in high school basketball, and, now that his offense is coming along, he's in the debate for top overall prospect. Hair + Name + Height = elite prospect
