How much did Brown hold back Varejao and did it cost them a title?
He has been showing some serious skills.

So I bought league pass this year. It sure seems like there is potential trouble on the horizon between Waiters and Irving. Not saying it's going to happen, but the seeds are there.

Watching Waiters is exciting, but man, he is making these shots and it just seems like the worst thing that could happen. Does a rookie already brimming with confidence need to be drilling pull up 25 footers?

Dion Waiters is not a good shooter. Dion Waiters shooting 50+% from three during the first week of his NBA career is certainly not a good thing.
If, somehow, during a summer where Dion Waiters got fat and quit working out, he became a good shooter, well miracles do happen.

Also, Dion Waiters with a higher 3pt% than fg% after a week in his NBA career is a really, really, really not good thing.
"Dwayne Wade II" and his irrational confidence needs to get to the rim and score, not hit threes at this rate.

So, I'm finally *really* watching this team tonight instead of flipping through games and only watching to see Kyrie be awesome.
My conclusion: Kyrie is awesome, Andy is confoudningly brilliant and Waiters needs to never, ever, ever, have the ball at the top of the three point line to start a possession. Unless Kyrie is sitting you do not run your offense through that guy and thus far (1Q down!) Kyrie has not been sitting while Waiters has been running plays.
This makes aoxo's previous remarks make more sense.

I have been far too busy to keep up with the team, but over at RCF the seems to be a debate on the value of trading Andy to OKC for Perkins, Lamb, and some future top 10 pick they have the rights to.
Would OKC do that? Is that enough for Andy?

Lamb and a pick that is top 14 protected this year, top three for two years after that and top 1 for two after that (teams learned from the Clippers).....
Meh.
Plus you have to pay that albatross of a Perk contract since you already used the amnesty, that means watching Perk get minutes on a team he won't really fit into.

So Kyrie is out a month for an "injury" Kobe would just tape up during a TV timeout??? Son... He was shooting this morning at practice. I doubt he will be out a month, although I don't know how the NBA injury policy works. Anyhow, without him in the line up this team will really be steaming hot garbage.

Dion Waiters still shooting less from the field than the 3 point line and now down below 39% from the 3PT line after shooting over 55 for like seven games.....
Here it comes

BTW: the last solid player I can remember to end their rookie season with a worse FG% than 3PT% was Brandon Jennings and he is about as different a basketball player from Waiters as can be. Waiters not being able to finish is just about the most amazingly bad thing that could have possibly ever happened from this last draft.

You are being too tough on Waiters. He's a rookie and he has been given a ton of responsibility, even when Irving was playing.
Rookies don't generally shoot great from the field.

Is Irving the most injury prone player of all time?
Guys like Oden were worse, obviously, but that was kind of one injury they could never get over. Irving seems to have osteoporosis.

The other things is that everyone made fun of Greg Oden for looking old, but I haven't heard it about Kyrie.

When someone keeps breaking bones doing things that don't break the bones of other people, yeah, it's inujury prone. A freak injury/shit luck is when a guy comes down on top of someone or gets their legs taken out from under them. Or has Haloti Ngata spear their knee.
