48 Hours.
Good old school 80s Eddie Murphy movies.
BHC, Trading Places, 48 Hours, and personal favorite Golden Child.

Gravity. Meh+ Stupid script dampers great idea. This is true. A less-gooey script = masterpiece. Still, I'd opt for a Heh-.I hate to give points simply for visuals, ('cause that means I have to give Avatar more credit) but it's deserved here. I'm also not typically a big Bullock fan, but she's as good as I've seen her. Also: Riddick: MehI was a fan of Pitch Black. Had that indie/sci-fi/horror thing going. The second one is a guilty pleasure of mine, I can't help it. This one is a mixed bag. Entertaining at times with some god awful dialogue. Captain Phillips: Heh-Despite a meh title and a meh trailer, it's pretty good. Greengrass delivers again with a mix of realism and genuine tension. I'm also not a big Tom Hanks person either and I have to give him his due here. Understated and effective; he'll probably get an Oscar nod. I did find myself looking at my watch about 3/4 of the way through though. Gonna try and make back to see Rush plus there's a new Coens, new Ridley Scott and new David o. Russell coming up. Also I did see that the new Scorsese is now back on track to release in 2013, so that's good.

I refuse to see Gravity despite the fact that I like almost everything the screenwriter has done in the past.
FEH at that movie. FEH FEH FEH.
